Setting the Maximum Delta Frequency Per Pass

For Eigenmode solution types

The delta Frequency is the percentage difference between calculated eigenmode frequencies from one adaptive pass to the next. The value you set for Maximum Delta Frequency Per Pass is a stopping criterion for the adaptive solution. If the eigenmode frequencies change by a relative amount less than this value from one pass to the next, the adaptive analysis stops. Otherwise, it continues until the maximum number of passes is completed.

Maximum Frequency Delta Per Pass = max | F_current - F_previous|/|F_previous|

To set the Maximum Delta Frequency Per Pass:

Delta Frequency data is available only after HFSS completes two iterations of the adaptive analysis.
