Setting Layer Visibility
A layer must be visible to be drawn upon. But in each layer, set visibility by individual object types. Perform one of these steps to control layer visibility.
- From the Edit Layers window, use the icons available to select the layers you want to be visible.
- Use the shortcut menu of the Layout Editor:
- Set Active: Makes the current layer the active layer
- Show This Layer Only: Makes the current layer the only visible layer
- Show All Dielectrics: Makes all Dielectric layers visible
- Hide All Dielectrics: Makes all Dielectric layers invisible
- Show All Signals: Makes all Signal layers visible
- Hide All Signals: Makes all Signal layers invisible
- click the Layout Editor to alter the following controls for setting visibility by layout-object type.
