Ansys Speos HPC Cluster (2024 R1 or Earlier)

The sample configuration in this section steps you through the creation and usage of a Speos Slurm cluster.

Make sure that the project space in which you want to create the HPC cluster supports 2024 R1 and older releases.

Before you begin, you may want to have a look at Overview of Slurm HPC Cluster Setups to get a quick summary of how a Slurm workflow is configured and executed in Ansys Gateway powered by AWS.

Note: Speos clusters have been tested up to 16 nodes (x24 cores).

Step 1: Create a Virtual Machine with Shared NFS Storage
