Deleting a Shared Folder on a File Storage Server

When a shared folder on a file storage server is no longer needed, it can be deleted.

Important: The folder and all data that it contains will be permanently deleted. If you want to retain any of the data, you will need to start a virtual session on the file storage server and transfer the data to a location on your local machine or company network, or an external data storage location such as Google Drive.

There are two quick ways of deleting a shared folder:

From the Administration page:

  1. On the main toolbar, click to access the Administration page.

  2. In the navigation pane, select Storage.

  3. On the Storage page, locate the shared folder and click Delete.

    You are prompted to confirm your choice:

  4. Click Delete.

From the project space containing the file storage server:

  1. Go to the project space containing the file storage server.

  2. Click the file storage server to display its details, then select the Storage tab.

  3. Click next to the shared folder and select Delete storage.
