Data Backup and Recovery for Shared Folders
For shared folders created on file storage servers in project spaces that support 2024 R1 and earlier Ansys releases
Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS) is used to provide storage volumes for use with EC2 instances. When you create a shared folder on a file storage server, you create an EBS volume that can be managed in the Amazon EC2 console.
To back up the data stored on a file storage server, you can create snapshots of its EBS volumes using the Snapshots feature in the Amazon EC2 console. Each snapshot contains the information needed to restore the captured data to a new EBS volume.
For more information, see Amazon EBS snapshots in the AWS documentation.
