Configuring Cluster Packages

Applications in a cluster package may have configuration settings that must be specified to enable their installation and use, such as license server information.

Administrators can preconfigure the applications in a cluster package so that resource creators do not have to manually specify their settings during resource creation.

To configure applications in a cluster package:

1. On the main toolbar, click to access the Administration page.

2. In the navigation pane, select Cluster packages.

3. Locate the package to configure and click Edit in the item's table row.

4. Specify the application's configuration settings. Settings vary depending on the package. For licensed Ansys applications, you must specify information about your license server and license details. For information on available options, see Managing Application Licenses.

5. Click Save to save the specified values.
