Removing a Location

Administrators can remove locations that have been added to the Locations page. This also removes locations from the Location drop-down list in project space and resource creation wizards, making them unavailable for provisioning hardware.

To remove a location:

  1. On the main toolbar, click to display the Administration menu.
  2. In the navigation pane, select Locations.
  3. On the Locations page, find the location to remove.
  4. In the location's Actions column, click Remove. You are prompted to confirm your choice.
    Note: If the location is being used by any project spaces, the affected project spaces are listed with a warning in the Remove location dialog. When the location is deleted, any resources associated with the location will be deleted from the project spaces listed.
  5. In the confirmation dialog, click Delete. The location is removed from the list.
