Hotfix

In Express setup tenants, the superadmin account that is used to sign in to virtual machines is now created with a password that does not expire, preventing the possibility of an expired password issue when users connect to resources. This applies to new resources created as of the hotfix release. (948453)

To prevent or resolve password expiry issues on existing Windows resources (created before the hotfix release), you must install a patch to disable password expiry. Follow the steps below for each resource to which you want to apply the patch.

1. In the resource tile, click the drop-down and select Applications.

2. Click Add application.

3. In the Add application dialog, search for and select Ansys Gateway Windows Patch: Disable Password Expiration, then click Save.
