While the general phase interactions can be specified as reactions in the surface-chemistry input, Ansys Chemkin offers liquid-to-gas (and the reverse) interactions to be modeled using a rate expression based on the Vapor-Liquid-Equilibrium (VLE) and associated intra-phase mass transfer in the corresponding phases.
