Edit for BoundarySetup Commands
For existing boundaries and excitations, the Edit command can be used to change properties. To use this command, first call the BoundarySetup module, and then with the Edit command, specify the name of the boundary or excitation and then the properties of that particular boundary or excitation. For example, to change the properties of a current excitation (Maxwell):
oModule = oDesign.GetModule("BoundarySetup")
oModule.Edit("Current2",
[
"NAME:Current2",
"Phase:=" , "0deg",
"Current:=" , "5A",
"IsSolid:=" , False,
"Point out of terminal:=", True
])
The Edit command replaces the EditBoundaryName commands of previous releases.
The Edit command cannot be used to change the entity that the boundary or excitation is assigned to. To change the entity, use one of the following commands:
- AddAssignmentTo
- RemoveAssignmentFrom
- Reassign
