Add (for Solver On Demand Model)

The Add command is a general command that can be used in several methods. This topic demonstrates how it can be used to add a Solver On Demand model definition to an existing component. It returns the name of the Solver On Demand model added.

UI Access

Right click on a component in the Project Manager tree, and select Edit Component, then select the Solver-On-Demand tab.

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
<ModelName>	Array	Model to add for cosimulation, with its associated properties
<CosimDefinitions>	Array	Array that defines the cosimulation parameters

Return Value

Returns the name of the model added.

To add a model to the Solver On Demand functionality, the script must do the following:

Open the project that includes the design you want to add.
Add the design from that project to the current project.
Add that design to the Component Manager.
Edit the component that you want to set up for Solid On Demand to couple it with the new design.
