Export MSR-FMEA XML

2019 R1 introduces new export facilities to export FMEA worksheets to MSR-FMEA XML files, for example to pass medini FMEA work products to other teams, business units, customers, or to store them in a tool neutral format. See the user guide for more information.

MSR-FMEA XML is a standardized file exchange format to exchange FMEA data between FMEA tools. Note that the Import of FMEA data from MSR-FMEA XML files is supported since version 3.1.0.

Reverse Relationship Direction

When importing directed relationships between requirements from RM system such as DNG, Jama, or PTC Integrity, the direction of the relationship can be inverted. This may become necessary when relationship definitions between medini and the remote RM tool differ in their direction but cannot be specified or otherwise configured in the tool or mapping. The inversion can be defined as a configuration option of the relation mapping.
