Time at Risk Model

For ARP4761A based projects, the probability calculation mode "time at risk" has been added to basic events, along with the possibility to specify the average flight time in addition to the mission time.

Project Wide Mission Times

In earlier versions, different FTA models within one project could have different mission times. In 2019 R1, all FTA models use the same mission time to avoid potentially confusing results of the probability calculation. This common mission time can now be easily adjusted within each FTA diagram editor.

Cut Set Editor

The Cut Set editor not only shows the IDs of all events in a cut set but now also the labels of all events to have more information at hand about the minimal cut sets. The column is optional and can be hidden if not required.

Integration Preferences

All preferences related to Fault Tree Analysis and the integration with other FTA tools have been moved to a separate preferences page below "Integrations" - and away from several other pages like "Diagrams" as before. Note that most options here are opt-in still, so disabled by default.

Evaluation Performance

The overall performance of the evaluation of Fault Trees was improved, resulting in an increased speed and a better memory footprint especially for trees with a large number of base events.
