System Weakness Analysis (SWA)

The SWA Editor is the next step in extending our functionality for SOTIF (Safety of the Intended Function). After introducing Limitations and Triggering Conditions as first-class concepts, the SWA provides an adapted FMEA feature set for weakness identification and risk assessment. The SWA worksheet synchronizes over a SysML design and the elements' cause-effect net providing a limitation-centric editor for identification of causes and effects.

FMEA/SWA Filters

The FMEA and the new SWA can distinguish measures for design & production (e.g. DFMEA) as well as diagnostics/monitoring measures (e.g. FMEA for Monitoring and System Response). A new filter option was added that allows to show/hide the relevant classes of groups of measures.
