Scripting Hooks

As a first scripting hook, i.e. a hook to extend general tool functionality using existing script functionality, it is now possible to extend the project creation wizard by a script. The script is executed as a post-creation step and may add or alter project elements. This way, it is possible to modify new projects independent on the used template. See Scripting preferences.

Virtual Grouping

With growing model size, there is the need to improve navigation while keeping clarity. The concept of virtual groups has been therefore introduced: if the number of elements in one level reaches a certain user defined threshold, virtual group nodes are inserted to keep the number of elements at one level low and make browsing faster. Threshold can be configured via the browser preferences.
