The Root setup and User setup programs can optionally store responses to prompts in answer files, in JSON format. If answer files are present, the setup programs detect them and use their predefined answers instead of interactively prompting you for input.

When an answer file is fully defined, the corresponding setup program can run without any user input.

Answer files are included in the HPS Installer package.
