A job may remain in the pending state for a variety of reasons:
The project is inactive.
No evaluator has the needed applications or minimum hardware requirements specified.
No suitable evaluator is assigned to the project.
All suitable evaluators that are assigned to the project are busy running other evaluations.
To find out why a task may not be executing, open the project and click in the Evaluator field:
Clicking opens a view indicating why the task is pending. When possible, options are available for fixing these issues.
In the following example, the task requires the Ansys Fluent application, but Ansys Fluent is not installed on any evaluator that matches the task's hardware requirements.
