Some endpoint security or protection software may prevent Ansys from installing correctly or may interfere with its operation causing corrupted installation or files. Ansys products use many executable files, scripts, and dynamic link libraries (DLLs). These files are accessed at different stages during installation and runtime, and the list is subject to grow with each new release.

Ansys recommends that you configure your endpoint security or protection software to whitelist the Ansys installation directories or individual files and folders according to your security policies. Ensure to perform a clean re-install of Ansys products after excluding them in your endpoint security or protection software.
