The Maximum Layers control determines the maximum number of inflation layers to be created in the mesh. Valid values are from 1 to 1000. The default value is 5 for solid bodies and 2 for sheet bodies. You can parameterize the Maximum Layers. The Maximum Layers control determines the maximum number of inflation layers to be created in the mesh. The Maximum Layers control allows values from 1 to 1000. The default value is 5 for solid bodies and 2 for sheet bodies. You can parameterize the Maximum Layers.
If you set a different number of maximum layers on adjacent regions, the mesher uses stair stepping between the regions.
You can apply the Maximum Layers control only when Inflation Option is Smooth Transition, First Layer Thickness, First Aspect Ratio, or Last Aspect Ratio.
Note: For Explicit physics preference, the default value is 1.
