Creating a Connection to an Ansys Minerva Site Using the New Connector

The new Ansys Minerva Connector will become standard in 2027 R1. Ansys recommends that you use the new Ansys Minerva Connector on new projects, or on current projects where the discontinuity in traceability of data is acceptable.

Note:  This connector is currently a beta feature.

To create a connection in Workbench:

  1. From the menu bar, select Tools > Options.

  2. From the list, select New Ansys Minerva Connector.

  3. Select the Use new Ansys Minerva Connector (Beta) check box.

  4. Enter the Server URL address of the Ansys Minerva server.

  5. Click OK.
