7.2. Setting up and using the script

  1. Download the Closed Loop Motion zip and extract all files. Copy both the script_closed_loop_motion.py script and the script_closed_loop_motion.py.files folder to the %HOMEPATH%/Documents/Rocky/Scripts.

  2. From the PrePost script panel, launch the Closed Loop Motion by clicking its Play script button.

  3. From the Closed Loop Motion home user interface, define the general information for the replicated geometry and the list of circles that defines the motion path.

  4. Check the Preview panel to see the motion configuration. You can update the circles definition in the Path Data panel if needed.

  5. Then, click on the Export to Rocky button to set this configuration to the Rocky setup.

  6. You can close the Closed Loop Motion script and come back to Rocky UI.
