Release 2025 R2 includes the following Substructure Analysis enhancements:
Imported Condensed Parts. Now, when you are working with the Worksheet of an Imported Condensed Part during a Substructure Analysis:
And you create a Joint from the list of available interfaces, the application now automatically reassociates the Joint’s original scoping when you re-import the Imported Condensed Part after you have cleared the generated data of the object.
A new Contact Region option is available in the context (right-click) menu. Use this option to create a Contact Region from one of the available interfaces listed in the worksheet.
Substructure Analysis. From the Workbench Project Schematic, you can now link the Solution cell of a Substructure Generation analysis to the Model cell of a supported downstream system to automatically create an Imported Condensed Part object in the downstream system. This process automatically generates two Exported Condensed Part (*.cpa) files and enables you to select the file type, either the Use Pass or Use Pass and the Expansion Pass, to be used to create the Imported Condensed Part in the downstream system.
