The following enhancements were made to Motion at Release 2025 R2:
A Create All Geometry feature has been added to simplify and speed up CAD generation for Shaft, Housing and Drivetrain Assembler components.
Internal performance improvements have been implemented, greatly reducing modeling times for Planetary Gearset and E-Axle components.
A new graphics API has been implemented to improve view control performance while an entity is selected and highlighted. This affects the following objects:
General: Curveset, Curve Contact Properties, and EHD Bearing.
Toolkits: Motor EM force, Link Assembler, Path Follower, and Tire.
The Links Toolkit has been updated to display real segment geometries when assembling the links system.
A contact Gap Detection property has been added to control whether the solver calculates the gap distance during analysis.
An option has been added to save simulation results after Co-simulation using the Functional Mock-up Interface (FMI).
