The following enhancements to Materials Data for Simulation (MDS) were made at Release 2025 R2.
Materials Data for Simulation (Mechanical, Discovery, Electronics Desktop, and Fluent)
Six new records were added:
Rubber, silicone (thermal interface material)
Plastic, ABS (15% stainess steel fiber, flame retarded)
Plastic, ABS (15-20% stainess steel fiber)
Plastic, PA66 (20% carbon fiber)
Plastic, silicone molding compound (50-70% glass fiber)
Plastic, bisphenol epoxy molding compound (mineral filler)
Additionally, some material data values were updated.
