6. Graphics

The following graphical display enhancements were made at Release 2025 R2:

  • Creating Coordinate-Based Section Planes. Now, when you create a Section Plane on a given Cartesian coordinate system, you can choose the desired plane upon which to create the Section Plane, either the XY Plane, YZ Plane, or XZ Plane. In previous releases, the application default, and only option, was the XY Plane.

  • Show Hatch Lines. The Section Plane window now includes a new display option: Show Hatch Lines. When you have capped faces displayed (Show Capping Faces), this option enables you to toggle the display of the hatch (black parallel) lines shown on the section plane on or off.

  • Anti-Aliasing (MSAA) Preference. The Anti-Aliasing (MSAA) display preference, that previously only improved the display of a model in the Geometry window, has been refactored to support a variety of additional display options, including image exports, animation exports, print preview, and report preview. Furthermore, this capability now supports the Linux platform for all of the above display options.
