The Part task panel displays options to define the product shape, material properties, thickness, and pre-unfolding options for the geometry of your final part used in a One Step simulation.

The Define Product by Surface task panel allows you to define the shape of your final part geometry by its surface, selecting the shape from the graphics window by cursor, window, polygon or freehand. You may also choose to define the shape by its mesh, choosing from the feature tree.

As you define your part, you may choose to conduct a Mesh Check from the Part tab. Click Check to access the Mesh Check Task Panel.

From the Part tab, you can also access the Material Library task panel to define the material properties for your part.
