30.2. Creating a Mode Shape

  1. Select Insert > Mode Shape.

    The Insert Mode Shape dialog box appears.

  2. Set Name to a unique name for the new mode shape. For details, see Valid Syntax for Named Objects.

  3. Click OK.

    The Mode Shape details view opens on the Basic Settings tab.

  4. Specify the basic settings. For details, see Basic Settings Tab for Mode Shape Objects.

  5. Click OK.

    An object named after the mode shape is created and listed in the tree view under Mode Shapes.
