Deactivating Degrees of Freedom. The new FDOF data record is used to define the deactivated degrees of freedom of a specified structure. The reaction force or moment at the structure's COG is calculated and output. Ansys recommends using this data record to replace the DACF data record.

Recommended timestep for stability. Considerations for setting the time step interval are described in the documentation for the TIME data record. A runtime warning message is issued if the time step interval is greater than the minimum value determined by the wave frequency and the analysis type.

Moonpool analysis in Aqwa Librium and Aqwa Fer. The coupling effects of fluid motions inside a moonpool and outside the external hull, and the rigid body motions of structures, are estimated in Aqwa Librium and Aqwa Fer analyses. The eigenvalues and frequency statistical results include the moonpool free surface pressure mode response components.
