In addition to standard restart files, restarting from a given load step and substep of a nonlinear adaptivity analysis requires the .rdnn and .rnnn files. Restarting can occur only at the substep where both files have been saved during the analysis.

To identify substeps where both the .rdnn and .rnnn files are available, issue this command:

Restarting from a substep at which remeshing occurred during a nonlinear adaptivity analysis is not recommended. Some remeshing data is not saved and the remeshing behavior may not be repeatable.
