3.3. Run an Eigenvalue Analysis Using LS-DYNA

  1. Run bracket_eigenvalue.k using LS-DYNA.

  2. Launch LS-PrePost.

  3. Select File > Open > Binary Plot.

  4. Open \eigenvalue\d3eigv.

  5. Hold the Ctrl key and use the left mouse button to rotate the model to a suitable viewing angle.

  6. Select FEM > Post > Fringe Component.

  7. Click Ndv.

  8. Select result displacement from the list.

  9. Click the Play button in the bottom panel to animate Mode #1.
