2.6. Trim Hole for Inlet

Choose FEM > Model and Part > Asembly and Select Part from the menus and select PartID 1 from the list.

Then choose FEM > Element Tools > Part Trim from the menus.

  1. Activate Trim Entities: Parts.

  2. Activate Trim Tool: Curves and pick the 30mm circle in the graphics window.

  3. Click Trim.

  4. Click Accept.

  5. Click Done.

Choose FEM > Element Tools > Transform from the menus.

  1. Enter Distance: 30.

  2. Select ByElem in gen select panel.

  3. Activate Prop in gen select panel and pick element inside 30mm circle from graphics window.

  4. Click Tran-.

  5. Click Accept.

  6. Click Done.
