In a Hot Forming project, Ansys Forming provides only the normal forming solution type.
In a Cold Stamping project, Ansys Forming also provides trim line development and springback compensation solution types that use iterative approaches to refining operations and geometries so that the final part is within defined tolerances of a target.
The normal forming solution type is performed by default. To choose an advanced solution type:
In the Process task panel, click the Advance tab.
Click the radio button next to the solution type.
