Using the Share Topology Tool

  1. Click the Share tool.
  2. (Optional) Enter a new Coincidence tolerance in the Options panel.
  3. Click to preview coincident topology to share based on the Coincidence tolerance specified.
    Each time you modify the options, click to preview the coincident topology based on the changes.
  4. Using the Select tool guide, select individual candidates to share them.
    Using Select Geometry, select additional faces or edges to share them.
    You can also select Exclude and select individual candidates to exclude them.
  5. Click the Complete tool guide to apply sharing to all remaining candidates.

    You can also click Complete to Share all coincident topology based on the options without previewing the coincident topology.

    After sharing topology, you can select, filter, and review your results using the Shared Topology Review tool.

Click Preview to find sharing candidates and highlight them in red.
Using the Exclude Problem tool guide, candidates in one area of the model are selected for exclusion. These candidates are now highlighted in green to indicate they are excluded.
Click the Complete tool guide to share all remaining candidates.
