7.8.1. Write Solver Input File Command

A CFX-Solver input file contains information (such as physics, mesh) required to execute a case in CFX-Solver to solve physics.

  1. Select Tools > Solve > Write Solver Input File from the menu bar or click Write Input Solver File  .

    The Write Solver Input File dialog box appears.

  2. Select a location to which to save the file.

  3. Under File name, type the name of the file.

  4. Click Save.

    If the filename assigned is the same as an existing filename in the same location, select Overwrite to overwrite the original file, Re-select to specify a new filename, or Cancel to cancel the writing of the .def file.
