Chapter 5: Parameter Name Limit Increased to 240 Characters within Mechanical APDL

The maximum number of characters for all parameter names in Mechanical APDL has been raised to 240 characters. In prior releases, parameter names, with the exception of long tables, could not exceed 32 characters.

The following commands are affected:

*SET: The scalar (single-valued) Par can now contain up to 240 characters.
SUGET: APDL array parameter name can now contain up to 240 characters.
*DIM: The parameter names can now contain up to 240 characters.
