13.1. Ansys Minerva

  • When you edit a version-controlled item whose life cycle consists of only one state, an application for example, and click Save for the first time, a new version of it is created. However, after clicking Save, when you upload files to a tab that uses the Data view (such as the Data Resources tab), the files are linked to the previous version. Consequently, when you refresh the item or open its latest version, the uploaded files do not appear in the tab.

To avoid this issue, upload your files first and then click Save or Done.

  • When reuploading a folder with more than 32 files to the same location using the Keep all files option, multiple copies of the folder are created, each containing a maximum of 32 files.

To work around this issue, copy the folder and paste it at the same location to create a copy of it. (1176485)

  • Branching of a parameter document file (ans_data) does not extend to the parameter document (ans_ParameterDocument). Consequently, the branched versions of the parameter document file always point to the latest version of the parameter document.

For information about the versioning of parameter documents, see Ansys Minerva User's Guide: Versioning: Parameter Document Versioning. (1168180)

  • Adding or moving an element on a parameter document causes it to become unresponsive. As a result, you cannot select an element directly on the document for specifying its properties or repositioning it.

To work around this, you can do either of the following:

    • Use Layer Manager to select the desired element.

    • Click Done, and then click Edit again.
