Preference Settings

General

• Pin arcs at opening holds still the navigation and parameters arcs at the next opening of the Live Preview to prevent them to slide out of the Live Preview window.
• Pin tabs at opening holds still the Sensors and Lights panels at the next opening of the Live Preview to prevent them to slide out of the Live Preview window.

• Activating Always on top keeps the Live Preview window to front. No other window can be in front of the Live Preview window

  Deactivating Always on top allows you to a window to be in front of the Live Preview window.

• UI theme allows you to switch the color theme of the Live Preview window between Dark and Light.

Navigation

The Navigation settings describe you how to use the different navigation commands. When using the navigation button, you navigate from the clicked location in the Live Preview.

Simulation display options

• Significant digit displayed allows you to tune the number of digits to display in the interface values. A preview is displayed next to the parameter.
• Linear pixel scaling is a visualization parameter only:

  • If you activate Linear pixel scaling, pixels will be smoothed between them.

    This behavior is the same as Live Preview from versions 2024 R1 and 2024 R2.

  • If you deactivate Linear pixel scaling, pixels are squared and do not interfer with neighbors color.

    This behavior is the same as Virtual Photometric Lab.

  In both Linear pixel scaling states, the Measure Picker will display the same pixel value with no interpolation, as Linear pixel scaling is only a visualization parameter.
