Importing CAD Files in Lightweight

CAD files are imported in Heavyweight by default. The following procedure helps you set the CAD import in Lightweight for the next imports.

Prerequisites: To set the Lightweight Import:
  1. Click File > Speos options.
  2. Select File Options > General.
  3. In Import options, activate Import as Lightweight.
  4. Click OK to validate and close the Speos Options.
Now, CAD files (CATIA, IGES, STEP) will be imported in Lightweight until you deactivate the option.
