Ansys Sherlock is a reliability, physics-based, electronics design tool that provides fast and accurate life predictions for electronic hardware at the component, board, and system levels in early-stage design. The documentation set includes the following:

Sherlock User's Guide: The User's Guide begins with five step-by-step tutorials to introduce you to Sherlock's basic features. The remaining chapters cover a broad range of topics, including parts management, Life Cycle management, failure analysis, FEA modeling, results management and reporting, and more. An extensive section on running a finite element analysis covers several analysis types: natural frequency, in-circuit testing, mechanical shock, harmonic vibration, thermal mechanical, and random vibration. You will also find instructions on how to integrate Sherlock with other Ansys products.
