The Meshing category and the Default Physics Preference preference enables you to change the default setting of the Physics Preference property of the Mesh object. The physics preference that you choose here will be the default for all Mechanical systems, regardless of whether they are analysis systems or component systems. Options include:

Note: The default physics preference that you can set in the Meshing application's Options dialog box has no effect on the default that is set for Mechanical systems.
