RSM is integrated with a number of Ansys applications. Solutions and updates can be submitted to RSM from Workbench/Mechanical.

When you submit a job to RSM in a client application, you can specify a number of solve settings to be used for the job. For example, the Mechanical application contains a Max number of used cores setting that enables you to limit the number of CPUs/nodes allocated for the HPC job. This information is passed along on the solver command line. The command line is parsed in the job script, and this information is passed on to the HPC resource.
