22.2. Running Autodyn in Batch Mode on Linux Platforms

An Autodyn analysis can be started in batch mode from the system command line using either:

  • The AUTODYNWRAPPER. This method is the easiest way to start a serial or parallel analysis, where command line arguments allow the full definition of the parallel environment.

  • The autodyn script. This method allows you to start a serial or parallel analysis but needs an additional parallel configuration file (parallel.cfg) and the definition of the environment variable ANSYS_AUTODYN_MPI_TYPE to select a non-default MPI type to run.
