10.3.4. Defining Geometry from Generated CAD: CAD From NDF

If your geometry is defined by an NDF file, you can use the Import NDF File command to have TurboGrid automatically generate a CAD definition from the NDF file and then load a particular blade row from that CAD definition. The CAD definition consists of a Parasolid file and associated TurboGrid Initialization file. The flow path and any secondary flow paths defined in the NDF file are automatically included in the generated CAD and the resulting loaded geometry. In subsequent sessions of TurboGrid, you can load any other blade row from the same generated CAD without having to regenerate the latter. For details, see Import NDF File Command.

After importing the NDF file, the geometry browser has Input Mode set to CAD. For details, see Loading CAD Data From a CAD Input File.
