Open Fluent's Results in EnSight

Open Fluent's co-simulation results in EnSight.

  1. In EnSight, select File > Open.

    The New case dialog opens.

  2. Ensure that Replace data for current case is enabled.

  3. Click OK.

    The Open dialog opens.

  4. Enable Advanced Interface.

  5. For the Look in field, navigate to Fluent's results folder, ReedValve\ReedValve_files\dp0\FFF\Fluent.

    All Fluent results files for the case are listed in the box below.

  6. In the results list, select the first .cas.h5 file.

    On the Data tab, the file path for the case file is populated to the Set .cas.h5 field.

  7. In the results list, select the first .dat.h5 file.

  8. On the Data tab, click the Set .dat.h5 button.

    The file path for the data file is populated to the Set .dat.h5 field.

  9. In the Set .cas.h5 and Set .dat.h5 fields, edit both file names, replacing the step number with a wild card, as follows:

    FFF.1-1-*.cas.h5
    FFF.1-1-*.dat.h5

  10. Click Load all parts.

EnSight opens with Fluent's results loaded as Case 1.
