Working with Sheet Metal

You can use SpaceClaim to create sheet metal designs and components.

SpaceClaim recognizes a component as sheet metal if it consists of only planar, cylindrical, and conical faces, and when faces are offsets of the same size.

Sheet metal parts are displayed in azure (blue) by default. Unfolded parts are displayed in purple, as shown in the image below.
