Checking Geometry

You can check the geometry for solids and surfaces. The geometry is checked for all possible errors. Select errors and warnings in the Check Geometry dialog to highlight the associated geometry in the Design window.

To check an object's geometry:

1. Right-click a solid or surface in the structure tree and select Check Geometry from the context menu.

   Alternatively, select the solid or surface in the Design window and select Check Geometry in the Measure tab.

   You can click Stop in the status bar or press Esc to cancel the operation if necessary.

   A dialog will open that lists any errors or warnings found.

2. Select errors and warnings in the dialog to highlight the associated geometry in the Design window.

   1. Select Zoom to fit selection to automatically zoom in to the problem area in the Design window.

   2. Select Hide Others to focus on a particular problem and hide other geometry.

   3. Select Create NS to create a Named Selection for the problem geometry.

   4. Select Delete Face to delete problem faces.

3. Click Close when you are finished.
