The Statistics menu option computes the sum of the mean and a multiple of the standard deviation for all selected field quantities. For each selected quantity, a single result object is created. Each result object is a field vector containing the desired value at each mesh position.
Note: The scaling factor is user-specified.
The resulting limit value q is defined by:

denotes the mesh position, and k denotes the user-specified
scaling factor.
Usage
Area of application: Robustness evaluation based on safety margins (such as distances with respect to the mean value).
Use negative multiples to get lower threshold values.
