The following topics list issues, error messages, and other situations that you may encounter while installing optiSLang.

After Windows Standalone Installation Repair oSP3D Entries Disappear from Start Menu

This issue only occurs when you install optiSLang using the standalone installer.

When you select the optiSLang installation from the Windows Apps & Features dialog box and click Repair, the optiSLang 3D Post-Processing (oSP3D) icons disappear from the Start menu.

To repair the installation without this issue occurring, run the ANSYS_optiSLang_Setup_version-number.exe file you used to install optiSLang with and select Repair from the installer.

If you have already encountered this issue (oSP3D icons are gone), uninstall optiSLang and reinstall it.
