2.21.3.1. Creating a DCS Profile

  1. From the menu bar, select Edit > Remote profiles.

  2. In the Remote Profile Manager dialog box, click Add.

  3. From the Connection type list, select DCS.

  4. In the Profile name field, enter a name for the connection profile.

  5. Click Change.

  6. In the Connect or Log in to Service dialog box, enter the DCS server, a user name, and a password.

    Note:  The password entered is used to immediately generate an access token. The token is used for further communication with the server, so optiSLang does not save the password.

  7. Click Connect.

    The information you entered is used to connect to the DCS server. The URL is added to the Remote Profile Settings dialog box.

  8. To save the changes and close the Remote Profile Settings dialog box, click OK.

    The remote profile is added to the Remote Profile Manager
