The goal is to optimize the order of the mistuning parameter so the maximum amplitude of the mode multiplier across the frequencies is minimized.
An initial mistuning must be present.
The number of random shuffles define the number of times the blade order will be randomly changed and the result evaluated.
The best value is then taken as a first point for the iterations. The number of iterations is user defined.
While the iteration is running, it is possible to abort. This will save the current best value in the user directory and close Mechanical.
Ansys recommendeds using a large number of frequencies. This will not slow down the optimization process while creating better results.
